What a SPRAVATO® appointment looks like
A few things every patient should plan for.

REMS-certified setting only
Administered exclusively in a REMS-certified healthcare setting under direct supervision — never at home.

Patient self-administers
You spray the nasal device yourself, but under the observation of a healthcare provider.
- 3
At least 2 hours of monitoring
A provider monitors you for at least 2 hours after every dose for sedation, dissociation, and respiratory status. Blood pressure is checked before dosing, around 40 minutes after, then as needed.

No driving until next day
You can't drive or operate machinery until the next day after a restful night's sleep. Arrange a ride home.
- 5
~2–2.5 hours per visit
Plan for a half-day in total, including check-in and the post-dose monitoring period.
Typical treatment schedule
- • Weeks 1–4 (induction): twice weekly
- • Weeks 5–8: once weekly
- • Maintenance: every 1–2 weeks, per physician judgment
